If you've ever bought a lead

You already know how that story ends.

You pay $100 for a “lead.” So do four other roofers. Half the numbers are dead, the homeowner never asked for a quote, and you're locked into a twelve-month contract to keep getting them. A permit is a different animal entirely.

Shared lead services

  • × The same inquiry sold to 3–8 contractors
  • × Fake numbers & tire-kickers you still pay for
  • × $75–300 per lead, whether it's real or not
  • × 12-month contracts, steep cancellation fees

Cedarstone permit leads

  • Real projects — an actual filed permit, on a real house
  • Owner name & mailing address on every row
  • One flat $99/mo — the whole week's jobs
  • Month-to-month — cancel in one click

In 2023 the FTC ordered HomeAdvisor to pay up to $7.2M over how it marketed its leads to contractors. We built the opposite of that.

“Can't I just pull it myself?”

You can. It's public. It's also a part-time job.

Building permits are public record — free to anyone with the time. The catch is the time. Roofing permits are filed across roughly 20,000 separate city and county offices, each with its own website, login, and format. Pulling them yourself means, every single week:

  1. Checking dozens of city and county portals across your metro — every one different
  2. Digging the roofing jobs out of every other permit type — HVAC, electrical, solar, demo
  3. Matching each property to the owner's mailing address before you can send a postcard
  4. De-duping, cleaning, and standardizing the whole list by hand
  5. Then doing all of it again next Monday — or missing the job

We do every step for you. You open one email.

What lands in your inbox

  • Property address
  • Owner name
  • Owner mailing address
  • Permit type & date filed
  • Job valuation
  • Contractor of record
  • Owner-occupied flag

Why it pays for itself

You only need one job. Ever.

The rest is profit. Here's the math roofers already know.

$99/mo
One simple plan. The whole week's roofing jobs.
1 job
A single closed re-roof pays for 2+ years of the feed.
$75–300
What one shared lead costs elsewhere — resold to four other guys.
Mon
Fresh permits every Monday, while the jobs are still new.
“First to the door wins the job.”
How it works

Set it up once. New roofing jobs every Monday.

Tell us your city

Pick your metro when you start. Two minutes, and you're done setting up — for good.

We pull the records

Every week we gather the official building-permit filings for your area and filter them down to the roofing jobs.

You get the list

Monday morning, a clean, ready-to-work list lands in your inbox. Mail it, knock it, or load your CRM.

Straight from the source

Real records. Nothing invented.

Every lead is a real building permit from official city and county records — filtered to roofing, formatted, and freshened every week. We don't invent leads, and we don't resell you a homeowner who never asked for anything. We just do the digging you don't have time for.

It's the same public data the big brokers repackage — delivered faster, cleaner, roofing-only, and without a contract.

The founding-member promise

Your first week is free.

You'd be one of the first roofers on Cedarstone — and founding members lock $99/mo for good while we add cities and raise the price for everyone after. Month-to-month, no twelve-month trap, cancel in one click. If your first feed isn't worth more than $99 to your business, don't pay a cent.

G
From the founder

I'm Gabriel — and I built this for you.

I got tired of watching good roofers burn money on shared leads and lose whole afternoons digging through county permit sites. So I built the thing I'd want myself: every new roofing permit in your city, cleaned and delivered every Monday — for less than a single shared lead.

We're new, and that's the point — you'd be one of our first roofers, and your $99 price stays locked for good. Have a question before you try it? Email me directly at info@cedarstonellc.com and a real person (me) will answer.

Questions

The honest answers

How is this different from Angi or HomeAdvisor?

Completely. They sell shared inquiries — the same homeowner's request resold to several contractors, often with dead numbers, on a 12-month contract. We give you real building permits from public records: actual projects, filtered to roofing, delivered weekly at a flat price, cancel anytime. No shared leads, no per-lead billing.

Do I get the homeowner's phone number?

Every lead includes the owner's name and mailing address from public record — built for direct mail and door-knocking. Verified phone & email are coming as an optional premium add-on.

Which cities do you cover?

Most major U.S. metros, with new areas added every week. Tell us your city when you start — if we can't cover it yet, you don't pay, and we'll email you the moment we can.

What counts as a roofing permit?

New roofs, re-roofs, roof repairs, and roofing work bundled into remodels and new-construction filings — filtered out of the full permit stream so you only see what's relevant.

Can't I just pull this myself?

You can — building permits are public record. But they're filed across roughly 20,000 separate city and county offices, each with its own site and format, with roofing buried among every other permit type and rarely a mailing address attached. We check the sources, filter to roofing, append the owner's mailing address, de-dupe and clean it, and email it to you every Monday — so you get your week back.

Is this legal?

Yes. Building permits are public records. We compile and deliver public data — nothing private, nothing scraped from behind a login.

Can I cancel?

Anytime, in one click. First week free, no contract, no phone call, no cancellation fee.
